Had Simplisafe for 4 days. Had to reset 5 times

Installed Simplisafe 4 days ago. A few hours after I installed it, keypad can't talk to base station. Pulled a battery out of the keypad and it found the base station, but I lost ALL my devices. Next day, same thing, but this time had to pull a battery out of the base station also. Again lost all devices. The system only works for a few hours before it is dead.

Before I ship this whole thing back, it looks like Simplisafe has issues with mesh networks. If this is true I'll just ship it back. I am not downgrading my network because this system can't talk to it. I have eero wifi which allows 2.4 and 5.0 networks. I have enabled guest network, but same issue.

On version 2.3.4. Been installed 4 days. Zero faith in it.

Hi chris.auer,

We have had trouble with mesh WiFi in the past, but it had already been resolved. If your Base Station is on version 2.3, you should be fine in that regard.

However, the issue you describe is something else entirely. Component info and settings are stored in the Base Station itself, so they can be retained even without WiFi/cell connectivity. There seems to be something wrong with your Base Station. If we haven't already, we'll want to replace that. If you could give our Support team a call at 800-548-9508, we'll overnight you a new one.
