After the Siren goes off on your SimpliSafe system, the Siren will blare for four minutes (the default). After that, the system will re-arm itself. Keep in mind that by default, the sensor that triggered the alarm will not be armed again until the user has disarmed and re-armed the system. This is to ensure that a faulty sensor cannot repeatedly cause false alarms. For users who would prefer to not use that functionality, it can be disabled by our Support Team over the phone. Just give them a call at
1-800-297-1605 from 8 AM to Midnight ET, 7 days a week.
