Constant power outages

We've had SimpliSafe for a few months but all through February, we've had at least one power outage most days. I took a sample of three days in the middle of the month and there was an average of 10 power outages every day. It seems to come back on almost immediately but it's also worrying that it happens so often. We haven't had any issues with, for example, weather that might cause the power to go out, and our broadband has been more than fast enough to do everything we want it to.

Can anyone tell me why it might be happening, and whether we can try to stop it from continuing to happen? Thanks.

@RF GM if the base is the only electrical device experience this, I would guess a bad power strip, outlet or power supply. If you have a powerstrip, I would replace that first. If it still happens, call SS and get the power supply replaced, if still happens new base. At a minimum, call SS support and troubleshoot.

Is your implication there hasn't actually been any sort of power disruption to your home?

Yes, our internet and power have been stable.

I'd double-check the power adapter/wall wart is firmly connected to the base. Maybe even unplug and reconnect a time or two.

Do similar at the wall end with the plug. Could it be a loose/worn out receptacle/outlet?

Has the power cable possibly been damaged? Sharply kinked, a pet chewed it, etc?

When it's all plugged in and working, try wiggling the wall wart a little, try wiggling the cable along its length, and lightly wiggling the plug at the base. Does the power out event occur?

If none of that points to a possible cause then I would do Captain's suggestions of trying the base on a different outlet or even a different branch circuit, or different power strip, or whatever combination of those might apply.

If none of that helps/identifies a likely suspect that may be on your end, then you'll have to get hold of SimpliSafe tech support. Phone in, don't wait for/expect a reply on the forum. Presence has been better lately by SS but still the best/quickest way is to  proactively phone in.
