Base station question

I have installed a verizon module in my earlier version base station. The system is contacting the dispatch center and is working normally.
The problem now, is the base light is still blinking. I have tried removing the batteries, turning the system off and on, and nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this issue?
