Base station lock up

I usually have my alarm set to Home at night.

Suffice to say, it was rather disconcerting to wake up in the middle of the night to a locked up base station (I had noticed an alert not coming through).

I had to remove the base station batteries with a screw driver to get the system working again.

How often does this happen to other owners?

Yes! Just started happening last night or this morning. I was going crazy thinking it's a local issue within my walls but seeing your post, I think it's on their end

Hi folks,

Are you seeing an issue with the signal making it to the app, or is the Base Station not able to arm at all? They're two different issues, but neither should be happening.

If you haven't already, we suggest giving our Support team a call at 800-548-9508 so we can test the connection and troubleshoot.

How often does this happen to other owners?

I have had it happen only once in nearly four years with SS3 (it never happened with SS2). I do not know about others, but in my experience, it is a scarce issue.
