base station extender

Your thread is a year old and you still don't have anything to extend the range of the base station.  I would love to find out if anyone has had any success with an RF signal extender.  Please please simpisafe - make this a priority!  Also please add battery sensors so we can tell by looking in our app that the batteries of a device need replacement.

@m22​ All you can try is what I did. I added a 2nd base station for outdoor cameras live views specifically. If sensors dropping are your problem you can split them.

However, be aware that if you have paid monitoring that 2nd base station and sensors etc., will not be connected nor covered by the monitoring system people for any level of monitoring without paying twice. 😂 

They can't even tie two base stations to one account.🙄

Other than that, you're probably SOL.

They were about $50 on eBay, new in box supposedly for SS3 and keypad. They, SS gave me one to try my testing. I'm keeping it too.🤷

I self monitor, so it doesn't matter for me anyway.

Of course, I built my own system and theirs is just for security redundancy and matters even less now. Scrap pile as the devices fail or to the evidence box.
