Base LED (Houston, we have an LED problem)
Hello,
I have been asking for several years now to make changes to the LED on the base station and I know as a programmer and also a software engineer that this is possible. At the moment you have a slide switch to turn the base LED on and off which is fine. But at night that LED is very bright and I said about having an option of the following.
off--------low--------medium--------high
Then we could control the brightness of the LED on the base it would work in the same way as on and off the only added option which thankfully can be coded to turn a Light Emitting Diode LED on and off yes this would require changes to the base architecture, but I know as a programmer this can be a feature that can be changed. Yes, it would require a little coding and testing to make sure it works. But there is no reason why you cannot make these changes.
Just a thought.

@hefeydd_ just some food for thought....consider trying to just just the light and all voice prompts off! Besides generating unnecessary attention to the base and it's location (think of intruder destroying it) I hav ebeen a SS customer for over 10+ years and from day one it has been hidden and quiet. My cell phone app gives me all of the information I need. Again, just a suggestion.

It's just too bright. It shines up the hallway.
