Adaptor doesn't fit in base unit???

All ready to hook up the new system and the adpator provided does not fit into the base unit???  The base unit looks like it accepts an oval shaped end and the provided adaptor has a square/rectangular end. End result: Adaptor does not fit in base unit.  
Anyone else heard of this???

If you have SS3, they may have mistakenly sent you an adapter for SS2 - unfortunately, they're closed today, so call tomorrow morning and request the proper adapter.

Hi all,

The power cord for the Original SimpliSafe System should be round, not rectangular. If you also received a SimpliCam with your order, make sure that you did not mix up the power cord from that as that one is rectangular.
