Unhappy New Customer

Why are my wireless outdoor cameras only recording a few seconds of a motion event at a time? They don't instantly wake up, connect to wifi, and begin recording at the moment of a motion event. It either doesn't record the beginning of the event or the event has already ended by the time the recording starts. Once the recording starts it often stops recording before the motion event has ended. 

Over the past four months, this security system has been nothing but a waste of my time and money. Can someone give me the answer to immediately fix this extremely poor camera recording problem?

I'm sincerely sorry to hear about your less than ideal first impression. Performance and optimization are a key area of focus for our engineering team, and we've already made a lot of progress over the past few updates, with more on the way.

But a lot of the symptoms you describe sound a lot like connectivity issues. A poor connection can sometimes result in dropped recordings, and can greatly exacerbate the time to stream.
