KNOWN ISSUE: Camera Recordings remain in the timeline after user attempts to remove

Hi folks,

There's a known issue for the iOS version of the SimpliSafe app, where recordings in your timeline may not immediately disappear after you attempt to remove them.

A solution is IN DEVELOPMENT by our dev team. But in the meantime, you can try going back to the Timeline, and pulling down on the screen to refresh. OR if you leave the SimpliSafe app and reopen, that will also refresh your timeline. In both cases, the video in question should no longer be available.

I delete them as I have in the past but they don’t leave

Hi @r_vining, 

Are you noticing this while using the SimpliSafe mobile app? If so, I would log out of the app and then log back in to see if that clears these recordings from your timeline.

In case you (or anyone else) is still experiencing this issue; this is a known issue with the iOS version of the SimpliSafe app, and we are still INVESTIGATING. In the meantime, if you close the app and and relaunch, you should see that the video has been removed from your Timeline.
