Doorbell Chime - inside only?

When I press the simplisafe video doorbell, I get a ding-dong chime as well as the chime box inside my house that was original to the house, big ben.  I do not want the ding dong.  One chime is plenty.  How do I turn off the simplisafe ding dong sound at the door bell?  I called tech and they said it’s supposed to work that way.

Hi @Alwreeve 

Just so I'm on the same page with you, are you wanting to disable the SimpliSafe Doorbell chime entirely and only rely on the house chime? You can also disable the Base Station chime by using the steps here.

Yes, I want to disable the SimliSafe Doorbell Chime entirely.  The house chime is sufficient.  I have disabled the Base Station Chime.

Yes,  want to disable the SS doorbell chime and hear only the house chime.  I have disabled the base chime.  Is this possible?  Many thanks your your help.

@Alwreeve​ Thanks for confirming. I did double-check with the team and it looks like the only option here is to disable the Base Chime setting. The chime you hear when the Doorbell is pressed is expected and can't be disabled at this time. I'm going to submit the option to disable all chimes as a feature request to our Video Doorbell team.
