Time Change
Sorry but I just couldn't help myself and had to comment. Yup another year and another failure for Simplisafe to fix the time change debacle. If you haven't noticed on your online account (not the phone app) all of your times prior to November 1st, 2020 on your timeline ALL changed by one hour less after clocks went back one hour. So much for accurate accountability for law enforcement that may be investigating a crime against your family or property. Great for a defense attorney .... Your honor I can provide 100 witnesses that will state @10:48 pm on this day my client was singing karaoke at the Sack of Suds bar.... But he really committed the crime at 11:48 pm on that day. But when the clocks went back and the timeline shows the crime occurred at 10:48 how can he be at two places at once. And you better hope Law enforcement some how stumbles across this Simplisafe problem in the first place.

I understand the point but if you have no known incident before the change it's not anything that's actually going to affect you.

And, not being a programmer, I wouldn't know how easy or hard it would be to include the feature (DST), but if hundreds of thousands of other sites can do it on hundreds of other platforms, is there a special reason SS can't? We can just chalk this up to maybe SS will "pass this on to development, and we'll let you know!"

This cannot be done using the mobile app.
Login to your account using a desktop browser. You will see a menu to your left. Click Monitoring and change the time zone setting.
