Outdoor Cameras/Siren Issues

After Simplisafe performed their most current base update, I have not been able to live view my outdoor cameras at all. The app says "Everything is okay" however when I go to see the cameras through the app, they go through their standard "waking up camera" then "Connecting" and finally it just gets stuck at "launching live view" and. Nothing happens.  Did a test, and the cameras didnt even record anything or even were actived. Base still states "Everything is okay" like nope, everything is not okay.

Siren is also not "beeping" when I set the alarm on home or away modes like it used to.

What I've done: I have reset my wifi router about 344234 times. Switched the system out of its own dedicated wifi network to another one and back to its dedicated network, with absolute no changes. I have also unplugged the base from the main electricity, taken the base batteries out and put them back in and replugged it back in to main power. Nothing.

What am I missing, everything was working fine until the update, then after update it seems like the system broke.

Hi @vargasroquecorrea,

I'm sorry to hear this! For your Outdoor Cameras, I would try resetting them by pressing and holding the pairing button on the back for 30 seconds. Once the reset is complete, the camera should chime and show a blinking white light.

Regarding the beeping countdown you hear when arming your system into Home or Away Mode, that sound comes from the Keypad. To retrieve the beeping, I would remove all 4 batteries from the Keypad and wait at least 30 seconds. After the 30 seconds are up, put 4 new batteries in. If that does not help, I would also try removing the Keypad from your account and adding it back in.

@emily_s I corrected the cameras by resetting them. The beeping from the siren was also corrected by resetting the siren as well. Now it also "beeps" almost simultaneously with the Keypad just like it used to. Hopefully this doesn't happen again because it was a pain in the butt to get these cameras back down.
