Outdoor Camera Streaming on Chrome Browser

Please be advised that our servers are currently unable to live stream Outdoor Cameras on the latest version of the Chrome browser. While we actively work to address this issue, please try another browser or use the SimpliSafe mobile app for iOS or Android.

Note: Recorded video playback, motion detection, and video verification are still functioning normally. Video Doorbell and SimpliCam are also not impacted by this issue.

UPDATE: As for 2/9/2022, this issue has been resolved. Please do let us know if you continue to experience issues.

Why can't you develop an outdoor camera that doesn't depend on the battery? I have the power cable attached, but if the battery fails so does accessing the video.

The outdoor cameras do not load in web app using firefox as of 09/29/23

@barrettderis​ you posted on a thread where the issue was resolved 9 February 2022. So your issue is very likely different. Also I wasn't able to replicate on my own system, so this might be an issue on your end.

Which operating system are you using? And you're saying that you're able to livestream just fine through the SimpliSafe app on your phone?
