Outdoor cam DOES NOT give indication of being offline

PROBLEM: Outdoor cam camera doesn’t indicate it is offline.

-- when on “cameras” page--camera still shows last picture during use

-- after a “front page” pull down and refresh of system condition there is still no indication the camera is off line

-- even after an attempt to reconnect to the camera there is still no indication of offline status.

--example… on the black indoor camera within 2 minutes of disconnecting power I get an indication of “1 device not responding”

--outdoor camera--After 24 hours of the battery being disconnected there is still no system driven indication of a problem

--After a connection attempt to watch the live view of the outdoor camera.. The camera goes through the connection process and gets stuck in the “connecting” indication.

--Camera was tested within 3 feet of base station

-- when camera was fully operational Simplisafe CSM verified connectivity and using the connection test wifi reports all three bars and connection is solid.

-- Pretty please DO NOT tell me this is a problem with MY wifi connections/cache/software on phone etc. IT IS NOT on my end.

 

SOLUTION REQUIRED—Outdoor cameras need to show indications of problems once battery is removed.

--Caveat I understand that when replacing the battery this may drive a device not connected indication. However, just like the black indoor camera a short time frame (2 min?) of offline status (due to complete loss of power) there should be an indication to the system and UI the device is disconnected.
