keypad installation with screws
It looks simple enough but I have installed the keypad bracket with screws and I can't get the keypad to lock into the bracket. I have tightened and loosend the bracket and I can eith get the top on and bottom won't lock or vice versa. Is there a trick because the adhesive is not strong enough and I have 3 pads to install.

@mrcorvettegolfer If you are using the screws that came with the keypad, should work fine, or use flathead screws, but I have to first ask why the tape isn't strong enough. I have two keypads that have been on my kitchen hallway and master bedroom walls since 2017 and are doing fine. If your paint is enamel or other very smooth surface, I would suggest 3M heady duty picture strips. They don't cost much, hold as much as 20 pounds (yeah, way way overkill) and you could do pull ups on them and they won't come off. I also use 3M velcro strips in the corner of certain rooms for my motion and glass break sensors to compensate for crooked walls that leave gaps.
