Is there a way to implement Face ID or login security on APP?

Is there a way to implement Face ID or other login security on the Simplisafe APP? I have a Iphone X. My son now has a different security system that allows FACE ID on the phone to initiate access to the APP. Seems like an appropriate thing to have.

@wardenpb, no face ID but you can set up an AppLock ID.  4 digit code. Works well.   Android man myself, don't own anything Apple except what's in the 'fridge.

Secure your phone and the apps don't really need to be secured.  My phone requires a fingerprint to unlock.  No point in redundant locking of each app IMO.

Yuck. To quote Star Trek Klingon, "revenge, or apple pie, is a dish best served cold".   (I may have taken some poetic liberty with that, now that I think about it.....)
