iPhone 12 Pro Max not receiving motion alerts from cameras

I was receiving alerts on my Pixel 3XL just fine and I recently replaced it with an iPhone 12. I cannot get it to send any motion alerts to this phone.  I've reinstalled the app and discovered when I go to Settings - Notifications on the phone SimpliSafe is not listed and I don't see a way to add it.  From the app on the phone I went into the camera settings and under Motion Detection - Motion Notification it lists Location (set to While Using); Siri & Search and Background App Refresh.  Nothing that it lets me add / delete from here.  Not sure what to do at this point.  Thanks for any suggestions.
