Email Notifications Not Being Sent
Email notifications for "activity" are intermittent, at best. They used to be very reliable, until last week. Now, I only get one out of five notifications.
Specifically, the notifications that look like this:
"System Disarmed: Your SimpliSafe security system was disarmed by Keypad Master PIN at (location here) on 8-7-20 at 12:51 pm"
Or,
"System Armed (home mode): Your SimpliSafe System was armed (home) at (location here) on 8-7-20 at 12:51 pm
Before you tell me, "give us a call and we'll be happy to help you", please know that I already did that. It was useless. It took me almost five minutes to get the tech to even understand what the problem was. Then, he said, "I have no way to get the engineers to fix that." Really?
What followed was a full ten minutes of following the script and I just hung up... clueless and ineffective. Great.
Here's the problem - please fix it. It is on YOUR end...
I have deleted my email address, re-added it, deleted it (again), added a NEW non Gmail email address and guess what? I don't receive the emails. No, they are NOT in my SPAM folders. You are not sending them. What's next? Should I change my ISP, too. Your email servers are NOT SENDING THE EMAILS. You need to fix that.
I do not want to use your app. I do not want PUSH notifications. I want email notifications. You know the same email notifications that used to work reliably before last week.
This should not be rocket science to fix. Please fix it. Your servers are not sending the email notifications. There is NOT a problem on my end. My email has been working flawlessly for years.
This is an important feature, that use all the time. It is a dealbreaker for me if it will no longer work.

Customer support blamed my base station, sent me a new one. No improvement.
Spent over an hour with tech support last night, eventually got to the end of the script and he said there's literally nothing else he can do, sorry.
Simplisafe, I really don't want to abandon hundreds of dollars of equipment because you refuse to acknowledge and fix the issue on your end. But this is a deal breaker.
