I'm having the exact same problem with the exact same responses from Simplisafe.  They've got 24 hrs to fix it and I'm going elsewhere.

Same here.  Email, sms, and even push notifications for activity worked fine for 5 years.  Two weeks ago, they became very sporadic.  Like 1 out of 10 at best.

Customer support blamed my base station, sent me a new one.  No improvement.

Spent over an hour with tech support last night, eventually got to the end of the script and he said there's literally nothing else he can do, sorry.

Simplisafe, I really don't want to abandon hundreds of dollars of equipment because you refuse to acknowledge and fix the issue on your end.  But this is a deal breaker.

I was able to solve the issue of not receiving email alerts from Simplisafe by going to Settings in my iPhone & turning on push notifications. I have the Simplisafe III system installed at my home. Hope this helps somebody!

Push notifications do NOT equal text/email. The biggest difference is that if you are someplace without service (phone is turned off, on an airplane, battery dead...whatever), you WILL get the email/text when you get service again. You will NOT get the push.

They are not the same.
