Cell Module Update Problems

About six weeks ago, I was having problems with one of my sensors.  During my conversation with tech support they sent me the updated replacement part for my base station.  I received it and replaced it with no problems and tech support confirmed everything was working.  Everything seemed fine.  However, a couple weeks ago I received the same replacement part in the mail that I didn't order.  Now I am getting the email below:


"Fourth Reminder: Action required! Install now for 1 months of service!   Looks like your replacement module has arrived! Please install it now to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 monitoring. If you do not install the replacement module, you will lose your professional monitoring service."


I've contact Simplisafe and they insist that everything is working fine.  I can only assume that this is correct.  I guess I will find out if my monitoring service continues or not.  As instructed by Simplisafe, I have returned both the old part and duplicate replacement part.

Hi @mdolfan,

It sounds like there may have been an issue with our automated process for sending out some of those upgraded cellular modules. Don't worry, there won't be any disruption of service to your SimpliSafe system. We have, however, sent your account to our dev team to make sure that you no longer receive any more of those automated emails.

It looks like I'm still on the list.  I received this today:

"This is your final reminder. Please install it now to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 monitoring. If you do not install the replacement module, you will lose your professional monitoring service."
