Camera feed to ipad or fire tablet

I currently have simplisafe. I have indoor cameras and the doorbell. I would like to add an out door camera of my driveway, but I want to set up an ipad or tablet to view the camera at all times. We currently have a camera that is set up and it goes to a 7" screen, but it isn't tied into our simplisafe system.

I want to know if I can do this or will the feed time out, not work on a fire tablet, etc. How feasible is this?

You can view the cameras via a web browser so I would imagine the fire tablet should be able to do that at the very least.  Whether or not the cam times out I've never tried that, maybe someone will chime in that's doing that.

But it's not a very efficient use of your internet as the cam sends it's data to SS servers and then back to your tablet.  Honestly, there are other products better suited for something like this.

I tried something like this last week and the issue I was having is the camera would time out after 5 minutes or so. I had all 3 cameras on live view and they went out in the same order that I clicked the play button all within seconds. You might try it but that's what I noticed.
