August Lock?
We have had the Simplisafe lock on our front door for a while and we like it very much. However, we are moving to a new house and the new front door has no doorknob, just a handlebar to pull. Unfortunately, the handle is directly above the deadbolt latch, so a Simplisafe lock will not fit there. I'm thinking of switching to an August Lock because its small size allows it to fit in that space below the handle. Has anyone used an August Lock with their Simplisafe system? Is it as good as the Simplisafe lock?

The integration is at the service level. The Simplisafe website "talks' to the August website to perform the lock & unlock functions. So, you will need locks with a WiFi connection (either the new locks, or the old + connect module) and have both set up for remote access. You also need the Simplisafe plan that provides remote access as well.
