The SimpliSafe app does have an option for biometric input, but it's more of a way to lock the app after you've already logged in - so if you accidentally left your phone unlocked for a second, someone can't just grab it quickly and have access to your system as well.
To access App Lock, head over to the ‚ò∞ Menu on the SimpliSafe app, then tap your email at the top, then
Configure App Lock.
As for the other issue - the app should actually be keeping you logged in at all times, unless you purposely log off, delete and reinstall, or if a recent app update needs to wipe the security credentials stored on your phone (which should not be frequent).
We have heard of a small number of users having a similar issue and our Tech Specialists are already investigating. Hopefully our engineers can get to the bottom of this soon!
