App doesn't have fingerprint login feature!!
Hi,
This is annoying to say the least. The SimpliSafe app keeps logging me out from time to time and I have to re-enter my login credentials each time. Plus it doesn't have a fingerprint login feature that would've easily addressed this and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail (it doesn't even have an option to remember the login credentials on a device!!)
The app, in short, sucks big time! If anyone knows of a way to enable fingerprint login on this app, it would be much appreciated!

The SimpliSafe app does have an option for biometric input, but it's more of a way to lock the app after you've already logged in - so if you accidentally left your phone unlocked for a second, someone can't just grab it quickly and have access to your system as well.
To access App Lock, head over to the ‚ò∞ Menu on the SimpliSafe app, then tap your email at the top, then Configure App Lock.
As for the other issue - the app should actually be keeping you logged in at all times, unless you purposely log off, delete and reinstall, or if a recent app update needs to wipe the security credentials stored on your phone (which should not be frequent).
We have heard of a small number of users having a similar issue and our Tech Specialists are already investigating. Hopefully our engineers can get to the bottom of this soon!
