Alarms not going to my iPhone

Hello,

       I purchased a Simplysafe security package about a year ago.  
       I just now got around to getting it set up a couple of weeks ago.  The set up went well but now I want to get alarms sent to my Iphone, so I'm trying to set up the "push notifications" on it.  I loaded the app on my phone 7 ios iOS 13.3.1

      It says online to go into the app and hit the 3 bars in the upper left-hand corner of the app and then go to settings. There should be something inside settings that says alarms and notifications, but there isn't!  

      How do I get this to work.  I should not have to have the 24/7 alarm monitoring set up to make this work.  It is supposed to work without this.

Unfortunately, to use the app and alerts, the 24.99 monitoring plan is required.

Yep what colt said, you have to have the 24.99 plan for that to work, but still worth it if you ask me.
