More people to get alerts, alarms

Can I add another person to my system so they can check cameras and use the app?

@dkbitton at this time there is officially only one log-on to your account, which is necessary to view the cameras.  (Please note SS is working on a multi-user account structure but not yet been released. When my wife and I go on vacation out of the country we rely on a neighbor to handle security for us.  Yes, they have our login, safe word and I updated the primary contact record accordingly for SS to call my neighbor first, and very comfortable doing that. We have known them for over 30 years and trust them more than certain members of our family. :-)

If you are talking about adding your wife, for example, just do the same login for her phone and it works fine. My wife and I have been doing that for years.

SS, btw, when will mutliple user accounts be ready?

@captain11 Development for multi-user accounts is close to being done - we are expecting to launch it this spring!

@dkbitton As Captain11 mentioned, our app is currently set up to support single-user accounts. If you would like to give someone else access to your system, they would need to log into the SimpliSafe mobile app on their device using your login credentials.

When giving someone else access to your account, we also recommend setting up Multi-Factor Authentication and register their phone number. By doing that, whenever someone goes to log int your account, a confirmation code will be sent to their phone instead of yours. You can learn more about Multi-Factor Authentication and how to enable it in this article in our Help Center

And as Captain11 said, our devs are working on a multi-user login feature. We expect to roll it out this upcoming spring!
