Panic Button Settings & Customizations

 Updated

Your Panic Button can be customized to be a silent or audible alarm, and additionally be configured to dispatch different emergency services, like fire or medical. When configured to be silent (duress), you will not receive a phone call or text from our Monitoring Center. Instead, the Monitoring Center will request emergency services be dispatched to your location right away. To note, the Panic Button cannot be canceled using Alarm Texts, through the Keypad or the App, as well. You will need to pick up the phone and provide your safe word to cancel a request for emergency services for Audible, Fire, or Medical panic button responses.

The Panic Button settings will determine what happens when you press the Panic Button.

Audible

The default setting. Will trigger a Panic siren, and a call from an operator. If you do not answer, or if you request it, the operator will call for police dispatch.*

Fire

Will trigger a Fire siren, and a call from an operator. If you do not answer, or if you request it, the operator will call for fire dispatch.*

Medical

Will trigger a Medical Alert voice prompt, and a call from an operator. If you do not answer, or if you request it, the operator will call for EMS dispatch.*

Silent

Will not trigger an audible siren, nor a call from dispatch. The operator will call the police immediately.*

*Dispatch services are available with an active Monitoring Plan.
