Your All-New SimpliSafe system can connect to WiFi to provide an alternative connection to our monitoring center and a slightly faster refresh time for the mobile apps and webapp. It also provides access to firmware updates.

Keypad Typing Chart*
The keypad uses ABC mode (also known as T9) for typing out names, locations or passwords. In this mode, you will cycle through the corresponding characters (numbers, symbols/punctuation, or letters) using the keys numbered 0-9 on your keypad. This chart outlines those corresponding characters and how many times pressing a single numbered key will make the desired character appear.
If you wanted to type out the name 'John's Room', you would press '5' five times, '6' four times, '4' three times, '6' three times, '1' nine times, '7' five times, '0' one time, '7' eight times, '6' four times, pause a moment, '6' four times again, and then '6' two times. Don't worry about memorizing the sequence, you will be able to look at the keypad to see which character you're on when cycling through.
