You can easily update your payment method and account information by visiting the SimpliSafe Webapp or the SimpliSafe Mobile App. Please note, your account email address must be updated on the Webapp using a web browser.
When using the Webapp:
- Log in to your account on SimpliSafe.com (or click here)
- To update account information:
- Click on your email address in the top right corner and then choose "View Account"
- To update your Email or Username, simply click on that field
- To update your password, click the "Change" button next to the right of that field
- After making all your changes, click the "Save Changes" pop-up at the bottom of your screen
- To update your billing or monitored address:
- Navigate to the Monitoring section on the left side of your screen
- To update your billing information, click the "edit" button beneath your credit card info in the blue bar at the top of the screen
- Choose “Add a new Credit Card” to change to your payment method, and then enter your credit card information
- To update your monitored address click into the Monitored Address fields and update the information
- After making all your changes, click the blue "Save" button at the bottom right of the screen
If you’re using a mobile device:
- Log in to your account in the SimpliSafe App.
- Click on the ☰ icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- To update your username or password:
- Click on "Manage Account" at the top of the menu
- Click into the field you would like to change (NOTE: you can only edit your email in the Webapp using the steps above)
- When you are done, choose "Save" at the top right of the screen
- To update your billing information:
- Click on the “Settings” menu option
- Click on “Plan + Billing” for the property whose billing information you’d like to edit
- Click into the "Credit Card" field to edit your billing information
- Choose "Add New Credit Card" at the bottom of the screen to add a new payment method
- Click the blue "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen when you are done
- To update your monitored address:
- Click on "Settings" and then "Location Profile"
- Click into the address field to edit your address information
- Choose "Done" at the top right of the screen and then "Save"
Please Note: We will no longer be able to accept and process pre-paid cards. If you are paying with a pre-paid card, please follow the instructions above to change your method of payment using your web browser, SimpliSafe mobile app, or by calling in to our support team at 1-800-301-3759.
