Should an extra Siren ("All New Simplisafe" version) report on the Timeline when it either goes offline, has low battery, or is restored?

I find mine do not; and, Simplisafe gives conflicting answers when I ask them.  I'm alternately told "they should" after a rep checks with their "support" person;  then, another rep says they check with their support person and are told they "should not".

I'm very dissapointed with Simplsafe support.  They have promised repeatedly they would do research and call me back with a definitive answer; but, they NEVER do.  I was last assurred by the most helpful rep that they would have thier manager call me (manager name was given as "Sandra R.").  Again, no call back.
