siren beeps
Original system siren beeps many times whenever I set the alarm to home or away. I tried moving closer to the base station but that didn't help. I've also synced the siren to the system many times with no success.

I suspect the beeps are the timing of the system timing the tome between alarm being set and time to set the alarm. Do you have a timing set for home count down? Away alarm has a mandatory count down period.

Hi @johnm721 ,
Do you have the SimpliSafe Original system? If so, that could be the Wireless Siren's way of telling you that it's running low on battery. They should be replaced every 8-12 months.
But otherwise, it could also be the countdown chirps before the system is fully armed. Which is of course the intended behavior.

My Extra Siren and Keypad Remote keeps beeping at the same time 10-15 minutes AFTER I have set the alarm system in home mode. Once the countdown has stopped and I get the announcement from the base station then 10-15 minutes goes by and the Siren and the Keypad Remote starts to beep at the same time. I’ve replaced both the Siren and the Keypad Remote with new batteries. This system is not the original one, I’ve had this new system for only one year. I’m at a loss why this keeps happening. Any ideas? I need help with this.
