Water Sensor and Monitoring Center Paid Off

Yesterday, just after I walked out of the house to check for mail, I got a phone alert and seconds later I got a call from a Specialist at the Monitoring Center. Both the Specialist and my phone indicated a water sensor under the Kitchen Sink went off.

I confirmed who I was as I headed back into the house and sure enough a leak had just started under the sink. Thanks to the quick alerts there was no water yet on the hardwood floor, exactly what I hoped for when I purchased 5 water sensors about a month ago for our basic system. I've got them under the kitchen sink, the dishwasher, the refrigerator, and close to the hot water tank and the sump pump.

Way to go SimpliSafe ... I'm liking this system.
