Saved From Another Flood

Once again, my wife turned on the dishwasher before going to bed.  Shortly after she goes to bed, we hear the alarm and the phone rings with Monitoring telling us we have a water leak.  This is the fourth time in the past year this has happened, and each time SimpliSafe Monitoring called to inform us.  We could have had massive damage had we not placed a water sensor near the dishwasher.  They sure don't make appliances like they used to, as this piece of garbage is only six years old.  We shut it down permanently and are waiting for a new one to be delivered.  

The water sensors alone have saved us from so many catastrophes. There is one installed in every bathroom, by the dishwasher (obviously), near the fridge, by the sump-pump, and water heater that sprung a leak late last year and SS called to inform us.  We can't imagine being without SimpliSafe.
