I want Apple HomeKit integration

Agreed.  It's something that a lot of other people have voiced their opinions about wanting as well.  I would absolutely love it, as our home is heavily integrated into HomeKit.  It's been heavily discussed on the forums and general understanding is it went from "It's definitely coming' to "We're working on trying to maybe do it, sorta/kinda possibly' to... "Dead'.  Maybe one day... *sigh*

Yes! Please add HomeKit support!  Not sure if the SimpliSafe cameras are compatible with HomeKit Secure Video - t that would be awesome too!

Simplisafe discontinued the API service that I was using with a Homebridge plugin (and paying for). Without Homekit, I am cancelling my service. I just purchased an Abode system that supports homekit.

It's been 2 years they promised HomeKit support and others are charging less than 10$ for professional monitoring

Apparently they got into a disagreement with Apple and were not able to continue implementation.

As for those charging $10, Do they provide as good protection? and will they continue to provide that good of service without raising their rates or cutting service?

You don't always "get what you pay for", but often paying more gets you more.

The Haven (from ecobee) might be a good alternative. I already have an ecobee thermostat and it works great with HomeKit.
