Don't buy this product!

Don't make the same mistake I did and purchase this product. It is garbage. Absolutely terrible range on all products.

I don't want more people getting swindled by this company. I wasted close to $1,000 and a lot of time on this worthless system.

Save your money or get something else. I can't imagine any other system could be worse than this one.

Hello @mcoon147 ,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having. I also commented on your other thread here, but I've created a ticket with our escalations team so we can help get your issue resolved.

To late, I have been with them for around 8 years and have over a thousand invested with 30 sensors and maxedout my limit for cameras and still happy with simplisafe. #simplisafe4life #simplisafe4thewin

Useless service. Entry sensors constantly lose connection and customer service keeps giving same garbage explanations. Definitely worth paying more for a real professional monitoring service.

@mdesai11 do you experience this with multiple Entry Sensors on your system, or is it just one sensor that goes offline?

If multiple sensors are going offline, that can indicate an underlying issue with the placement of the Base Station. In that case, we recommend moving the Base Station to see if these error messages subside.

The Base Station should sit at least 3 feet off the ground, on a non-dense surface like glass or wood. We don't recommend placing the Base Station on a denser material like concrete, granite, or metal, as that can impact its connection to other SimpliSafe devices. The Base Station should also be in an open space, not tucked away in a cabinet or closet. To learn more, see the Sensor Not Responding for Multiple Sensors article in the Help Center.

@mdesai11 First, no, I don't work for SS.  That said, over 30 systems placed over the past 13 years and all happy campers. Perfect for everyone? Heck no, but issues addressed and fixed.  If you are having that many problems there is something definitely going on and suggest you work with support to get to the bottom of it. Possibly a bad base or an interference source nearby. Call back and ask to be escalated to a tech specialist. If not immediately available, ask for a specific callback date and time.

Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.
