Bravo simplisafe bravo

Well i will say, i got to give it to simplisafe they were on there game tonight as i called them and i immediately put it on speaker thinking i would be on there for an hour and within 5 seconds someone picks up and problem solved within 2 minutes. Very nice ss, well done. Oh and to some that was talking smack about my English earlier, well i hope this was better for you, if not then let me know as i promise i will slack a little more. Hahahahaha

Lance, my laptop thinks I'm dyslexic (I'm not), and it also thinks when I use Firefox as my browser, it can pull up Edge instead (even though I killed Edge, it's apparently still alive).  Not that any of this excuses your horrible language (I'm kidding, you should know that by now), but most of us don't care as long as we can decipher at least half of anyone's post, including my own, lol.

Well last night i ask if they could go ahead and send out the update to my alarm and she said yes and i got a message on my app saying its ready and for me to go over to my keypad and follow the directions, so i go to both keypads and nothing, no gear symbol or nothing. Then i go to the settings for updates in keypads and it says your up to date, so apparently it did not go through so im just going to wait and see if it comes in a few days or not.

Well, i take that crap back, im trying to call again and now been on hold for an hour and ten minutes and nothing. I shouldn't have said anything oh well the hell with this update, if it comes it comes if not the hell with it lol

Update: just got off the phone with ss and they said on there end my system is up to date but nothing was ever sent to mine and she said dont worry about it unless it pops up. I told her about how Johnny m from ss posted up on the forums about everything that was to be updated on the update and she kept saying that ss employees really are not allowed to be on the forums anymore and they are not even allowed to say what is in any of the updates. So as of now i really don't believe her and im leaving it all a lone, if it shows up or im updated then so be it as im done with all this updating crap lol

^  They really need to get everyone on the same page at SS, what a cluster----!!

Even if Johnny M didn't emphasize it, we might want to assume that most updates could contain security fixes or improvements, so take that into consideration if you don't do an update.  I'd personally call back during the week when more supervisors are available - it was a supervisor who pushed an update to my system last year, not a rep - so ask for a supervisor instead.

I might have to try and call during the week at night when i get home from work and see because Im still not sure about all this to be honest.
