Water Sensor Battery Very Short Life Span

I have six Water Sensors throughout my home. For some reason, I have had to replace the battery in one of them each month since I installed it four months ago while I have not had to replace any of the batteries in the others since I installed them well over a year ago. I have been using different packages and different manufactures: Duracell and Energizer. Anyone have any idea why this one Water Sensor is burning through batteries while the others go so much longer?
