Thinking of upgrading - Smoke/CO2 questions
I'm thinking of upgrading to the new SimpliSafe. The new smoke detectors look exactly like the old ones. Will I be able to keep my original smoke detectors or will they not be compatible with the new SimpliSafe? Also, I cannot find CO2 detectors under the new SimpliSafe. Are they not offered? Will my original CO2 detectors be compatible?

While the Smoke and CO detectors for the All-New SimpliSafe look the same as those for the Original SimpliSafe, they are not cross-compatible. This is because the All-New SimpliSafe uses upgraded wireless technology to connect the devices to the Base Station. Regarding your question about the availability of CO sensors for the All-New system, they are currently back-ordered and we only have enough stock to cover warranty replacements. Once we get more in stock, they will be added back to our website for purchase.
