Smoke detectors lit or not lit?

Set up three smoke detectors… two are lit up… one is not.

The app says all is well.

Should their lights be on or not?

According to the support document you should see the following behavior if the smoke detector is working properly:

Red flashing light every 5–6 minutes and no sounds

Not sure what you mean by "lit up" but it sounds like the light is on and stays on? The document linked above notes that a "Yellow steady light and chirping every 1 minute" indicates the following:

Tamper Switch Error. Remove the detector from the bracket and test the Tamper Switch by pressing it with your finger. Reattach the Detector. If the issue persists please contact support for help.

My apologies for using the term "Lit Up".  With only one light on the smoke detector, I thought it would be obvious.

Thank you for your comment and link.  Apparently, I managed to look in all the wrong places for my answer.

Your advice set me straight and the smoke detectors are now properly mounted and working as they should.

Thanks again.
