Smoke detector issues

I have 3 smoke detectors that I installed on my house about 2 years ago. Recently I have been having trouble with the one connected in my basement that apparently it does not communicate sometimes. I receive the notice and a few hours later, it reconnects  ??
I replaced the battery and relocate the sensor about 15' from the main unit and I have the same issue sporadic.
Do you have any advice?
