Smoke and CO (SSCS2) - Compatiable with Gen3?

I'm at the end of my rope with this system for so many reasons, I'll save you the time, but overall now, I'm trying to add two smoke detectors and 1 CO detector, which I believe are SSCS2 compatible. I was reassured they would work with the Gen3 system, but I'm fairly certain that is not correct.

Anyone run into this same issue?
