Can the smoke detectors from the classic system be added to a new base station?
I have classic system and a lot of smoke/co detectors. I noticed the detectors sold with the new system looks the same. I was wondering if my classic ones can be added to the new system. Thanks.

Captain11 is correct in that, while the Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors do look the same, there is no cross-compatibility between devices for the Original SimpliSafe system and the All-New SimpliSafe system. The All-New SimpliSafe system uses a much different wireless signal that has roughly twice the range of the Original SimpliSafe system and is now encrypted for stronger security.
