Smart lock problems

Not receiving low battery notifications from lock. This is happening on 2 locks on 2 systems on different wifi and different locations.  Locks just stop communicating with base. Anyone else having this problem?

@dorotheadg Try 1. taking batteries out and pack in 2 replace batteries 3 Call support to troubleshoot. They may repleace it at nc is still under warranty. Mine stopped working, tried all of the above and it had to be replaced.

Hi @dorotheadg

That certainly isn't the behavior we'd expect when the battery starts getting low. The first thing I'd recommend here is to replace the batteries so we're working with a fresh set of them. In the event that replacing the batteries does not make your Smart Lock responsive, please reach out to us directly so we can look at some next steps. It is possible that there may be an underlying Wi-Fi issue that needs to be addressed, or the lock could need replacing.

never received low battery notifications myself. that is until i was locked out of my house and forced to have a locksmith drill through my lock and install a new one. only after power cycling it did it say that the batteries were low, but the whole time i tried to use the lock/unlock function on the app, it simply said the lock couldnt reach the base station. But the home screen assured me Everything Was Ok! Well my wallet didn't turn out so ok and support, who originally informed me to keep my receipt as to be reimbursed suggested an exceedingly generous offer of one free month of monitoring. cant say thats worth much considering my doorbell camera rarely ever seemed to work, as echoed by many on these forums as well. im extremely disappointed with simplisafe
