Smart Lock NOT locking on AWAY

Installed a new Simplisafe smart lock yesterday and for some reason it does NOT lock when the system is set to away mode.  It works fine on Home mode and remotely from the app.

Checked all settings and it is set to lock when the system is armed in away mode but it does not lock.

Also when in away mode and after the lock fails to lock I cannot access the log remotely from the app and the app says the lock cannot be reached.

This ONLY happens in away mode.
