Installing Smart Lock - Deadbolt issues
Step 5 of the installation instructions for the smart lock says that the notch on the adapter should point up and away from the door's edge. Mine points up and toward the door's edge. So, the throw on the deadbolt only comes out about 1/2-inch. What am I missing? What's the "fix" for this?

If you are using the green, yellow, or blue adapter you should be able to flip it around 180° so that the notch on the adapter will be pointing up and away from the door's edge. Once the adapter is installed correctly, you should be able to fully lock and unlock your deadbolt.
