How can I resolve the issue of my alarm not turning off when I use my smart lock?

My smart lock is set to turn off my alarm when I enter my PIN into my smart lock’s keypad. However, maybe 5-10% of the time, unlocking the smart lock with the PIN number does not turn off the alarm. I find myself running to the back of the house to enter the PIN into the regular keypad to turn off the alarm, or sometimes I don’t catch it in time and the alarm goes off. Are there any known solutions to this problem?

Hi @Gabe2021 ,

It's likely that this might be more of a lag issue; that is, the signal from the Smart Lock is being delayed getting to the Base Station. Where are your Smart Lock and Base Station located, especially in relation to each other? It might help to move the Base Station to a closer spot for better communication.

This seems to happen to me more often these days too. The Smart Lock is about 2 feet from the Base Station. l also tried removed and re-added the Smart Lock and the corresponding door sensor.
