Not able to select Video Quality in the Android version of the app

Users of the SimpliSafe® app on Android may have noticed an issue when attempting to change the Video Quality setting on your SimpliSafe camera, where the “OK” button that allows you to select an option is not visible.

This can happen if you have set the text font for your Android phone to a larger size. Our App team is looking into a solution. But in the meantime, we suggest a workaround:

  1. Temporarily decrease the font size for your Android OS (you can find instructions for standard Android phones here, but you may need to consult with your manufacturer for specific instructions)
  2. Head over to the SimpliSafe® app and change the Video Quality for your camera as desired
  3. Return to your phone’s settings to restore your preferred font size
