Use app as keypad
I'm using an iPad as a home control & monitoring screen next to my front door. I'd like to use the SimpliSafe app on the iPad for arming/disarming my alarm so that I don't have to have multiple devices there. I'd like an interface option in the app that's similar to the keypad functionality where you need to key in your pin to disarm the alarm and make changes, that way the screen is always available but someone breaking in wouldn't be able to just hit the disarm button without knowing a pin.

I know it's not the same, but you could enable App Lock for the SimpliSafe app. You can find the option under Menu > Manage Account > Configure App Lock.
Just as the name suggests, App Lock will lock your SimpliSafe app so that you need to enter a PIN (or complete a biometric check) to access the app. So it locks down the whole app, not just the arm/disarm.
