Simplify push notifications for more info at-a-glance
Is there a way to simplify the notification text? It's currently wordy with irrelevant information. You can't see what sensor got triggered and need to either expand the notification every time or open the app. Here is what it looks like right now:
It'd be so much more useful if it simply read: "Front Door Open", "Basement Motion Triggered", "Living Room Glass Broken", "Laundry Room Water Sensor Triggered", etc.
I'm on Android, but it was the same when I was on iOS.
Thanks, all!

Hi @waszkon ,
This is great feedback. I've converted and moved your post to our Product Requests section, and forwarded to our dev team.

@waszkon great post! I always thought same but never, for some reason) posted anything about it. Many of the notifications can be shortened, and obviously, the heads up verbiage is some product manager's idea of being "Apple esque" and should be dropped. Brevity and concise is best.
SS, how about it? Should be easy to do. And while were at it. how about an online webinar on this subject? New community is established, working well, Davey and company is a great team, let's go and do it!!

I like that. There is a lot of redundant and non value added verbiage.
The notification header already tells you the type of alert, no need to repeat that (far as it seems anyway).
That it's a heads-up kinda goes without saying since you got the notification.
Short and sweet with just the header and the sensor name (maybe sensor type but not convinced that's even needed) seems would be good.
EDIT: On further contemplation, system name or address needs to be in there somewhere too, for those of us with two or more active systems on account.
