"Follow" entire forums instead of posts, or RSS Feeds?
The old forum had RSS feeds for every subforum. The new forum doesn't appear to have RSS feeds, nor does it have anyway to follow subforums. What am I missing? Thanks.

You know, I forgot that we even had that on the old forum. I'll look into following for categories and topics.

Yes please.
I was just about to say I can't even figure out how to follow an entire topic... much less an entire category.
people shouldn't be "commenting" on a particular reply in a topic at least not by default - they should be "replying" to a topic...

Most typical forum formats:
Forum > Category > Subforum (if any)
Subforum > Topic > Replies
Topic > Reply or (Reply directly to any post within the thread)
Not trying to create more confusion, but with a platform such as the new SS forum here, you are actually in the right place to reply, (if that's what you meant and if you wanted to reply to this thread) - just look at the address url in your browser, you'll see the category you're in. We just don't have a visual table of forum/subforum/category/posts like the old forum.
I sort of like being able to just scroll the main forum page to see ALL posts that were created or replied to most recently, it doesn't matter to me which category the posts are in, as you can always see from your browser url address. If you want to create a new post, click through the category icons from the main community page and click on the category you wish your post to be in, it will then be seen at or near the top of the main community forum page.
That said, I think (but can't speak for), most people prefer an index page with a visual table of subforums, categories etc, and yes, the new forum will take getting used to, but it doesn't look like SS wanted to implement any sort of threaded forum. And if it was a platform provided by amazon (the server), they may not have had many choices (in order to keep up with the amazon platform/server/etc stuff rather than separate platforms from a different company or server). But what do I know!

Two full months. Any updates?
Still no way I can see to follow a subforum or the whole forum, nor any RSS feeds.
Thank you.

Nine months.

:^)
Even if RSS feeds aren't possible, how about "following" an entire subforum? I'm not visiting the forums every day, so some kind of push notification (vs "pull" of manually visiting the site) would get me here more often. See "engagement".
Thank you.

20 months.
-- deafening silence --
Still no way to get push notifications of forum feeds, posts, or replies. <eyeroll>
No way to even see what threads I'm following! This is not the best forum software...
If I'm wrong, somebody please correct me.

@davey_d - Please move this request to the "Product Requests and Suggestions" forum so we can track it. Thank you. 😊
