Dismiss Not Responding warning

When you have a sensor in a safe, it is essentially in a faraday cage. It will alert when opened, but can't report any other status. This causes the system to see the sensor as Not Responding. It would be nice to have an option to  have that specific sensor not alert "Not Responding".

I work from home and my alarm starts beeping every 10 seconds. I can't just leave a meeting to go turn it off and its beeping in the background of my meetings. So another thing would also be able to acknowledge the alert from the app, so it would stop beeping.

Hi @justinbayliss,

The Entry Sensor, or really our sensors in general, are not intended for installing inside a safe. I would actually suggest just installing it on the outside if possible - though the signal might still be blocked if the safe is between the Base Station and that sensor.

As for that 'beeping' that you hear, it sounds like the Trouble Signal, which can be disabled in the Keypad Menu (under the General Settings section). Though it's important to note that if your local authorities require adherence to the UL-985 standard, you do need to have that setting turned on.
